Hello!

Today I made a sample project for my next class and My sons. They want to give their friend candy for Valentine's Day. So I thought I would use Pool Party to show the boys Valentines did not have to be red or pink. I cut out 2 heart from the Spice Cake DSP. To attach the 2 pieces together I cut a small scrap of matching paper at 1in x 2 1/2 fold in half and attached to both hearts. The small heart has Love you on it from the P.S. I love you stamps set from the new Occasions Mini.

Valentine's Day Decor- Card

Hello! I am working on some cards/ home decor for Valentine's Day. This was my latest project. I cut 2 pieces of card stock at 4in x12. Scored at 4 and 8 on both sheets. folded all the score lines. I attached 2 of the panels together. to create one long card.

Since all my Snowmen have been stored until next year. I am filling the house with Hearts.

Hello! This card looks so good. I stamped the smallest heart and then embossed them with the the NEW Cherry Scented Embossing powder. LOVE all the scents. Also available Vanilla and Melon.

Today's card was inspired by the cover of the latest Stampin' Success that as a demonstrator I receive every month. I die cut the card with the new heart framelits.

Colors used crumb cake, early espresso and cherry cobbler. P.S. I love you is the new Valentine's Day stamp set.

Hello!
I'm back in the swing of making cards. It feels good to make a card again.

On my card today I die cut the party hat from the pennant die. Then covered it with adhesive and wrapped the new Island Indigo bakers twine around it to cover the entire piece. Make sure to wrap it close together so you don't see the paper behind.

How Does it Work? By joining my Stamp Club you agree to purchase a minimum of $25.00 (before tax and shipping) each month for a 6 month period. You can choose products from the current Idea Book & Catalog or the mini catalog. You will be placed with 5 other Stampers to form a club. One time during the 6 month period you will be the Hostess and receive the Hostess benefits shown in the catalog. OR as little as $15 over a 10 month period. This depends on the number of people who sign up. That means that you will receive your choice of $25.00 Hostess dollars in free stamps or accessories. This may increase and also earn you an item at 50% off based on the monthly club sales. During your Hostess month you can choose to collect outside orders and increase your Hostess free potential. I will take care of all the ordering.

Club Member Only Perks: During your Club Membership there will be special offers, only available to Club Members.

When Will I be the Hostess? The first person to sign up will be the first Hostess, the second will be the second Hostess and so on.

Christmas Lane Mini Step book

Hi! I wanted to share my latestest mini book I created. I found a mini scrapbook at a local store that was made with paper bags in this same style. I knew I could recreate it with card stock and The Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin Kit. The kit make fast work of decorating this book. Just take the self-adhesive die-cuts and add them to your pages. Nice, Easy and FAST. Love it.

The cover was cased from the holiday mini page 26. The card with the candy cards was to cute not to reproduce. Hope you like the book.

Hello! I have been busy making gift card holder for an up coming craft fair. Last year I sold a bunch of them. For this card I made the white cover that slips over the pool party card that has a small pocket at the bottom for a gift card or money. Color used Pool Party, Lucky limeade and Wisteria Wonder.

This is a quick and easy gift card holder to make. Let me know if you want directions. I'm happy to share.

Hello! I am always on the look out for a cool fun fold card and this one is no exception. It folds up like a star. Opens up to this fun layered looking triangle. I have to work on the link for the directions. What I have written down does not work.

I used some retired DSP and spruced it up with leaves from Day of Gratitude with Cajun craze ink. The sentiment said "Guess who loves you!"

I was at a local store and found this and ran home to make my own. It was very easy to make with the new scoring tool from Stampin Up. It took about 8 sheet of cardstock and A LOT of hot glue.

Hello! Here is one of my first cards made with the new Button Buddies. The little pig is so cute. I don't think you can tell from the photo but I heat embossed the pig with melon mambo embossing powder. I love the little sparkle this adds. The bottom of the front is stamped with circle circus then embossed with the square lattice folder.

Hello!! I wanted to share a second card I made similar to one from last week. I used a retired set Called a slice of Life and the new one called Kindness Matters #122902 for clear. To get the shadow effect on the words at the bottom I stamped the words on the bottom of the cards with daffodil delight and then Early Espresso.

Hello! I have been making different mini scrapbooks. Here is one did using up my celebrations DSP and the Wonderful and "Quick accents " that coordinates perfectly!! LOVE THAT!!

The finished book is 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 and has 4 large tags on the and 4 small ones on the bottom of the pages. Once you add some of your party memories this would look great standing open on the table. It could also be out at the party as a nice center piece.

New Penant Punch

Hello!

I wanted to share these 2 cards I made for my club friend with the new pennant punch. I used a mix of the old and new in colors. I love how fun and festive they look together.

Hello! I'm still here. We have been away on vacation in sunny Florida. The weather was hot but wonderful. I think we were in the pool everyday. The boys LOVED it.
My plan is to get back into some kind of schedule and start creating and posting again.

You can choose products from the current Idea Book & Catalog or the mini catalog. You will be placed with 5 other Stampers to form a club. One time during the 6 month period you will be the Hostess and receive the Hostess benefits shown in the catalog. That means that you will receive your choice of $25.00 Hostess dollars in free stamps or accessories. This may increase and also earn you an item at 50% off based on the monthly club sales. During your Hostess month you can choose to collect outside orders and increase your Hostess free potential. I will take care of all the ordering.

At ages 6 1/2 and 4 they loved the roller coasters. I will be working on some MDS pages this week I will share when I am done.

I often fall in love with a card that I just have to CASE and have to make it just like it. Usually I end up changing something before the card is done. This card was different. I had to make it exactly the same. The colors look soooo fresh and good together. OK with some minor changes. I found this card in the demonstrators monthly magazine. I used the seek peak Paisley Petals DSP and the four frames stamp set.

My bunny is inspired by Lisa Young. She made an adorable snowman holding the gift. I was looking for a cute way to give a gift to an older child that doesn't do an Easter basket any more. So here is what I came up with. I think they all turned out great.

Sweet Little Purse Gift card holder

HI! This is one cute little purse just big enough for a piece of chocolate or 2. I used this one for a gift card for a friend of mine. It fits on an angle as you can see in the picture below. I discovered this idea at clearly inspired blogsopot. Thanks for sharing your great idea. Do you want to make your own? E-mail me and I will send you the directions.

I love making gift card holders. If you have any good ideas that you want to share with me that would be great. I am always looking for a new way to make them.

HI! today's card is one that I received from my mom for my birthday that was back in February. I have finally taken a photo of it. The spring colors are great, certainly celery and so saffron on crumb cake card stock.
If you have not tried SU brads you need to add some to your next order. The brads are high quality thick metal that you don't find from other company's out there. Stampin Up's brad collections can be found on Page 187 IBC and Glimmer brads can be found in the Occasion mini on page 31.

Greenhouse Gala Thanks

HI all!
I wanted to share this fun card with you today. I used one of my most favorite techniques that is so simple and changes the look of pattern paper. Embossing pattern paper is the technique. I like the effect of the added perfect polka dots does to the big patten of the DSP. After embossing I gently sanded the paper so the you could see the dots. The Thanks is from A word for you (120528)clear $16.95
The scalloped square is made fro the scalloped rectangle cut once then turned an cut again to make the square.

Need a quick project? This is it. I found this idea on Cindy McGurk's website. Like I did she used some retired DSP to create these cute purses. I did not add many extras because I thought the paper looked so pretty by itself.
The inside of the purse is large enough for regular A2 cards or a small gift.

I am always looking for a 3-d card that pops. This is one is great and nice and easy to make from half a sheet of card stock. I used the fun Celebrations DSP and Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set. I don't know if you can see it in this photo but I embossed the striped paper on front of the card. I love how this adds a bit of texture on the card.

Let me know if you have any good 3-D card ideas to try. I will make the card and post it here to share with everyone. I might have a special treat for you to. Just for sharing.

LOVE mini Scrapbook

Happy Belated Valentine's Day. I had a busy weekend with 2 sick kids and myself getting sick too. O what fun.
I made this mini scrapbook in my class last week. It starts out as a 6x6 square and then folds out with 2 more fold out pages. You can add more than 15 photos to this book. I used the LOVE LETTER and FIRST EDITION DSP. They go together so well.

This little guy is so cute. I had fun playing with the Make a Monster stamp set. It is fun taking all the different parts in this set and creating funny little critters. I used the clear set. A Great idea when do this so you can line up, or not, your parts.

Happy 2011!! I hope you had a Great New Years Eve. My husband I went to a Columbus Blue Jackets game with friend then back to the house to ring in the new years.

This was one of many different styles of Christmas cards I made this year. I could not pick just one style this year. This card looks so much better in person. The tag turned out very cool. I stamped the snowflakes in Crumb cake and Marina Mist Classic ink on the Very Vanilla card stock. Then press your Versamark ink pad directly onto the stamped card stock covering it completely with Versamark ink. Sprinkle the whole piece with embossing powder & heat emboss. You get beautifully shinny

tag that Looks very COOL!! This technique can be used on any DSP paper that you may want to emboss.

Christmas circles

I have almost used all of half of my Jolly Holiday DSP up on my Christmas cards and tags. I think I have a few random bits and pieces I can use if I need to make a last minute tag. . This card looks good landscape or portrait. I have lost count of how many cards I have made for this Christmas season. Forgive me for not taking photos. I have been pretty bad with that. I'll try to be better in the new year.

With the other half of the paper pack I am starting some Christmas scrapbook pages.
I'll be back with those soon.

This is such a cute tag and simple to make. All you need is the Owl punch and some scraps. When you punch out the reindeer head place the paper in the punch to remove the feet.

Do you just love this little guy. I used my wonderful SU markers to hand color my penguin. NOTE I left out the to and from on his belly. The colors I used were basic black, peach parfait and Bermuda bay. The black scalloped rectangle is cut with the Clearlits die on page 211 in the big catalog. (# 118872) it is behind penguin. I stamped Happy birthday but this can be used for your Holiday cards too.

Fall is in the Air

Good Morning all!
It was cool this morning when I woke up, so I broke out my new favorite paper and Stamp set. They are Autumn Spice and Day of Gratitude. The Autumn spice DSP is a textured heavy weight card stock and is wonderful.

I did not title the page yet. I figured I would do that when I decide what photos I will put on. In class we will die cut them during so you have a complete page ready for photos.

Let's Talk about Fall

HI!
Today card is my first Halloween card. This little pumpkin is made from the word window punch. To make the smaller pieces all you need to reinsert the punched piece and trim off the extra piece. Eyes and nose are made from the small star. I made the mouth from the rounded tab punch.

Supplies:
Card stock: Rich Razzleberry, Cajun Craze,Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, (great combination)
Embossing Folder: Square lattice
Punches: word window, Oval, NEW Decorative Label
Brads: Glimmer brads basic
Ribbon: basic Black 1/4 in
Stamp Set: Good Friend (retired)

Ronald McDonald- Tag Alongs

HI all! i hope you are recovering well after the long holiday weekend. We had a great time visiting my parents and going to the Cleveland Air show. The boys love going every year to see "Dad's airplane", it really belongs to the Guard, but they call it Dads. I think they have gone every year of their little lives.

So the card i have to share today is made with the Ronad McDonald stamp set called Tag Alongs clear 120513 or 117018 wood mounted. Every year Stampin up has a stamp set that they donate $2 from the sale to a very worthy charity, Ronald McDonald's. This like all the other is just great for all kinds of things. Who doesn't need to make that last minute tag for a gift. you can do so much with this set.

*Try stamping the image onto pattern paper. Very Cool technique. Thanks mom! See words above too!!
** If you don't want the to and from on your image like I did above, color your image with markers.

For those that have inquired about my arm, it is doing much better. I have a cast that is removable and can take it off when ever I want or to shower. I only need to wear it for a few more week .

But they are just so cute!!
I had the itch to make something tonight so I found some where Owls with eyes like what I did on the cards above. I punched out the bottom layer of the eyes from the boho blossom punch. I think it turned out pretty good. Card colors are poppy parade, concord crush, whisper white, marina mist and crumb cake. Don't tell my husband but I can do more with my broken arm than I thought! It will be out little secret LOL!

Sweet Scoop-Party Bears

Hi! Sorry I have not posted for awhile. I broke my arm last week and have not been able to do much. i do have some cards that I have made recently and will share while my arm heals.

I had stamped theice cream cones from my sweet scoops set on a piece of paper. for some reason the paper was turned over and I looked at it and said to myself that it looked like little faces with party hats. So I added faces and a tiny little bow and wow it turned out great. I think I will get the new set make a Monster to add more faces to the next card I make like this. I'm sure it will make some interesting faces this way.

Sweet Scoops is in the Summer mini that is only available until August 31st. Don't miss out on this great set.

Happy Anniversary Owls

HI! I made this card for my wonderful parents that have been married for 38 years!!! Don't worry she has already seen the card. She will just be surprised to see it here today. Hi MOM!!

The card has 2 of my Mom's favorite things Owl and the color Purple. My background is using Concord crush DSP that has some new very nice designs. The words are from A word for you (117032 wood and 120528 clear). I bought a wood mounted set and I think when buying words sets I will try clear. I think it may be easier to line things up with it. A word for you is similar in design to Heard from the Heart (111644 wood) also a must have. I can't tell you how much I have used both sets. LOVE them both.

Other new goodies on this card would be the Elegant Lines embossing folder (119277) to add a little touch to the background of the Owls. I also use the Dotted scallop Ribbon border punch (119275). It really does look like ribbon. A nice addition and no bulky ribbon. Owl punch is (118074).

Sorry to take so long to get this card posted. I had some technical difficulties and thankfully my husband is now home for teck support. Thanks honey!!

I just wanted to show you how to turn ice cream cones in to a banner for your next card. I stamped the cones/ banner in daffodil delight then cut them out. I hand wrote my letters for Happy, not to bad if I say so myself, in marina mist. I stamped Happy Birthday from the stamp set a Word for you (Great set) also in Marina Mist.

When adhering the banner to the background paper I glued down my banners first then drew a line to connect them. Then added the poppy parade dots that I punched from my 2 step owl punch.

Supplies you need to make this card:
Card stock: Marina Mist, Daffodil delight, Crumb cake, Whisper white.
DSP: poppy parade ( hostess level 1)
Ribbon: Marina Mist
Embossing: big shot, perfect polka dots embossing folder

Party Hearty - Banners or Hats

This is one of my favorite cards in the new catalog. I new as soon as I saw it I would have to make one for myself. If you want to see the original turn to page 54. When I decide I am going to CASE a card and do it exactly like it something just has to be added or changed just a bit.
So I heat embossed my banner pieces. To do this I stamped my images in Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Rich Razzleberry, and Peach Parfait. Then I added clear embossing powder, heated that and WOW it looks cool. Sorry that may be hard to see in the photo. Well I could not stop at one card. I cut out the tiny triangles from Celebrations DSP. Wish big is from Word Play a great new stamp set. I stamped it and then cut it out using the new scalloped rectangle clearlit. Check back tomorrow, I have one more banner sample to share.
